Strix's Notes

There’s been more fishiness in town since the orc attack, the guards have mainly stuck near the center of town instead of spending any time near the wall, and the baron is even hosting a parade to celebrate the guardsmen that repelled the attack. No mention of all the adventurers and common folk that helped as well. Not to mention I think we saw someone riding a griffon just outside of town. If I’m right…. why would the knight captain of Cenorias be here alone?

Freyja showed up in person at the farm to let us know we needed to meet with the Torch immediately. At the hideout we finally met Bo, the “spymaster”. According to him it's pretty obvious the baron has been letting security in town slip, and it's likely the orcs will soon be back in full force. We’ve decided we’re not going to waste any time, and we’ll beat them to the punch. We’ll deal with the baron later.

Nilkas' Notes

Strix had her doubts about the attack and investigated as I returned to my studies. Had to pull Andor away from some women he was trying to court a few times but wast taught to better diplomacy, lie, and sense if the other was lying. Soon the Sapphire Torch summoned us to discuss the attack. We met Bo, the apparent spymaster of the group, and he affirmed a couple of Strix’s suspicions. The Baron is being fishy about the whole thing letting security slip and only celebrating the guards not the adventurers. Not that I'm jealous of that last one. We were given the choice on 2 plans of action. Attack the orcs now while they are regrouping or investigate the Baron. I said to attack the Orcs since they are still a threat and while investigating the Baron is something we should do that doesn’t solve the threat. Maybe we could get a defense up before the next attack but that risks civilians. Strix and I agreed on striking the Orcs now.

We cleared a camp of Orcs. Nearly got overrun. Strix went down though, I don’t remember the next few moments as rage overtook me. That hasn’t happened in a while. Didn’t kill the shaman though. Freed their one prisoner and rejoined Freyja and Astrid. Astrid seemed too keen on healing me… 

I just realized what she meant. Welp moment over we are currently moving on to the next camp
