Strix's Notes

We grabbed the tuner and brought it back to the Sapphire hideout, now to wait for our next move. Also I think Nilkas may have been flirting with Astrid…. what a character he is.

On our way we ran into Thieves’ Guild members who were looking for Nilkas. Since he didn’t get payment for the job he was sent to Kaldorei for, we agreed to steal a particular ruby from a rich merchant in town named Aleard Boleem, who lives in the Golden Gate area. Never stolen anything before, but I’m not against redistribution of wealth.

Found the ruby etched with a mysterious symbol. Found out the hard way that ghosts are apparently real, the world is full of surprises I could have never expected. I’d like to forget what I saw in that house, those poor children…

Nilkas' Notes

Went back to Strix’s house and slept. We returned to the hideout with the stone. Astrid oversaw and seemed to like watching me work. After a little playful flirting we left and back in town I was attacked but dodged the strike. Looks like the attackers wanted to give me a job. Weird way of asking but then again my dense ass isn’t good with subtlety. Asked to grab a jewel from a noble. We proceeded to loot the place. Seemed like the owner was in a depressed stupor. We found out why. The things I’ve seen and done never helps with dead children.
