Strix's Notes

Sleeping is proving difficult, keep thinking about how many people have died by our hands already… but I’d like to think we’re doing something good. Spent some time meditating outdoors to try to clear my head, came to the realization that I’ve got some innate magic capability in me. Not sure when that came to be, don’t think it's something I want to advertise like Nilkas does, even if it's not exactly sorcery. Also decided my armor isn’t thick enough for this business, might need something sturdier, and think I could do with some training on dodging attacks.

I wonder what Artyom would think of me now?

P.S. We ran into Emerald again at the Inn. After helping her recover a key she lost, we found out she is the Knight Captain we saw previously, and her real name is Jade. Seems she leads an interesting life!

The treasure in the mountains that the orcs were talking to Lucien about seems to be a mine. Nils and I have decided we could do with some extra coin in our pocket and we’re going to go check it out. Denying the Scarlet Circle a pay day is an added bonus.

Saw Emerald. She lost something. I got it back. Nearly scared that man to death. Was more important than I realized. Emerald showed us something.
