Strix's Notes

The orc forces were stronger than we anticipated, ended up being quite a handful. Nils and I cleared a smaller camp on our own, then joined up with some of the Torch for the main camp. It was tough. Thankfully the women and children had evacuated unharmed, but I still don’t feel good about what happened there. Not sure what I expected with this “hero” business, but I don’t think I anticipated this much killing. Either way, found a note confirming that the orcs were working with Lucien, though they didn’t seem happy about it.

Nilkas' Notes

We soon cleared the main camp and even more  Orcs died. Searching the town we found a tent. A mother and Child were inside. Gods the looks on their faces will be something I’ll never forget. The fear and acceptance of their fate seeing me soaked in what was likely the blood of their father and husband. We luckily had a translator to tell them they can safely move to the nearby Orc camp. We soon dispatched the clan leader.

Gained more info. Definitely related to the Scarlet Circle. Bastards are looking for Gold in the mountains. I'm all for taking some potential wealth out of their equation and putting it in ours.
