    Outcomes

    Downtime is 2 weeks:

    • Nilkas is able to retrain his skill ranks by meeting with Ander Goldtongue. He has two stories to tell:
      • one about the time he (singlehandedly!) prevented a dragon from ending the world (and of course got all the ladies - no, you can't meet them, they live in another town)
      • (after noticing Nilkas's tattoos, maybe even one glows?) one about his short time with a group of sorcerer outcasts up in the mountains, seems they've got their own secret society up there, who would have guessed?
    • Strix is able to start to work on building a bedroom onto her farmhouse (20 days, 7 laborers including herself, 4-8 squares)
      • This is mostly done, Nilkas has a new bedroom in the farmhouse

    • Strix is also able to spend the two weeks investigating the attack on Kaledorei and the Scarlet Circle's movements
      • The Scarlet Circle - No evidence of their activity, really anywhere. They've fallen more or less silent for the time being. How does she look for their activity?
      • The Pruushnak Clan - The orc attack was from the south of town
        • if she follows their tracks, they seem to hook around the town and actually come from the north. The path of their retreat was to the east, however.
        • A few orcs lay dead here depending on how quickly she comes out to inspect the place, and nearby commoners may have some information to tell her, probably just that they knew someone who had died in the combat.
        • She can find a pennant with the clan's symbol on it - a black icon of two crossed serrated blades.
      • Krea - She is able to tell Strix what she already knows enough to confirm at this point, but for a price. The Scarlet Circle retreated from Kaledorei a few days ago when it seems a group of adventurers showed up at one of their local bases of operations and took them apart. No idea when they might be back, but it seems there's been a slight uptick in activity in Cenorias - its possible that any survivors from the raid are looking for hands to help take the city back.
      • Leif - Tell Strix that she went to see Leif, tell her that the floorboards had been torn up in the entranceway of his place, that something leaving dust marks had been pulled up out of the ground, leaving a few silver pieces in its place
        • Upon exploring more, she can find that the Scarlet Circle documents they'd found earlier have disappeared, and can find evidence of a small fire behind the shack
        • She can also find rough sketches of people, looks younger versions of Sylvia and Clerebold
      • Therlin Goblinbane - She doesn't have much. Though she mentions that it seems like the orcs she fought weren't there just because of the love of war, it was almost like an animal stuck in a corner -- or maybe that was just because she had split one's head open with an axe a moment earlier!
