Who does your character look up to? If there isn’t anyone right now, was there someone in the past?
Her mother. She encouraged Strix to stand up for herself, and inspired her to care for friends and family.

You say she looks up to her mother, what about her father? Are they still alive?
Her father is a little bit of a drunkard, not to any extremes, but to the point where he was never able to hold a steady job, tries to sober up when Strix is around
both of her parents are still alive, still in the same town and house that Strix grew up in

Is there anything your character regrets doing/not doing?
Not having children.
