Background?
Born a Bastard out of wedlock of a weird forbidden love between a human barbarian and a female Elven noble, Nilkas was the result of said love. He was raised as one of the family of the Elven Noble House but his father resented him to the point where Nilkas was beaten by him. To say the least he had a troubled childhood. What also didn’t help was his barbarian blood that caused fits of rage and power. But one day a friend of his, Illyria Faleth, caused one if his fits to cease with bardic magic, causing him to learn bardic magic. This caused him to learn how to mix his rage with his music to inspire others. Then momma died and as the right bastard he is Nilkas’ father disowned him and wrote him off his mother’s will. So Nilkas did what any normal 30 year old would, packed up and left. For a life of adventure is better than a life with him.

Lower end of the nobility, but still noble
